Bread of Life Mission helps people experiencing homeless in the Seattle area. Bread of life Mission is a non-denominational, Christian, social services organization, which provides critically needed goods and services to the homeless, poor, and needy of Washington State without regard to race, color, sexual orientation, creed, national origin, or religion.
Since 1939, the Bread of Life Mission has been changing the lives of those who are homeless, poor and struggling with addiction through the power of Christ and the extraordinary support of our community.
Through our programs at Bread of Life Mission, we provide a safe environment for those in need. Offering a meal and the dignity of a shower and clean clothing is just the beginning. We reach beyond the physical needs of a person by offering an opportunity to truly heal and experience lasting change in their lives.
Emergency Services:
When someone comes to the Mission their first stop is Emergency Services to meet their immediate physical needs. Guests can sign up for beds, eat three meals a day, take showers, and pick out fresh clothes.
Recovery:
Our Christian Life Recovery Program that helps men develop tools to make realistic, achievable changes that lead to a better quality of life at no charge to the potential student.
Transition
The Resident Volunteer Program (RV) is our transitional housing program. It provides stability — requiring personal responsibility and accountability, while under the guidance of the Mission.
