Our services provide a community that strives to address basic needs of individuals living with HIV/AIDS with respect, compassion and safety. The Day Center is a drop-in center for low-income individuals living with HIV/AIDS. The Daily Bread Express provides meal delivery for low-income, home-bound individuals living with HIV/AIDS.

Last year, we provided 21,525 meals to 138 people living with HIV/AIDS at the Day Center and through the Daily Bread Express.

Services:
Daily Bread Express
Established in 1992, the Daily Bread Express (DBX) provides meal delivery for low-income, home-bound individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Seven nutritious meals are delivered weekly throughout the six-county Portland metro area. Clients need to be referred by a case manager. There is no fee for this service.

Become a Daily Bread Express Client
To participate in the program meal recipients must meet the following criteria:
- HIV positive
- Income below 300 percent of the federal poverty level
- Specified medical need for home delivery of meals



HIV Day Center
The HIV Day Center is a community center for low income people living with HIV/AIDS. We strive to provide services with respect, compassion, community and safety.
- Hot breakfasts and lunches five days a week
- Staff available for counseling, information and referral, and help with problem solving
- Phone and mail services
- Computers with internet access, free WiFi
- Washer and dryer
- Showers and hygiene supplies
- Clothing closet
- Pool table, piano, TV, books
- Massage, haircuts, foot care and acupuncture
- Therapeutic and recreational activities
- Meeting space for case management
- Educational presentations



Become a client
Clients can self-refer to the Day Center; the only requirements are that they are HIV positive and have incomes below 300 percent of the federal poverty level. There are no fees for any Day Center service.



Drop-in hours
Day Center drop-in hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday through Friday. Breakfast is served each day between 9 to 10:30 a.m. Lunch is served at 1 p.m. info
