Mission Statement
The Gateway Center strives to ensure that survivors of domestic and sexual violence who are seeking support and assistance are connected to all available resources in a kind, empathic and trauma-informed matter. The Gateway Center operates as a community hub for advocates and survivors seeking wellness and stability.

Values
Everyone has a right to live free of violence. Survivors are experts in their own lives. Survivors deserve autonomy in decision making. Survivors are best served by a community of helpers that are lovingly interconnected and mutually supportive.

Who Is Served
The Gateway Center serves Survivors of Intimate Partner Violence and/or Sexual Assault in Multnomah County.

Hours: Mon-Fri 9am - 4pm

We no longer offer in person walk-in drop-in services. Now, all services at the Gateway Center begin by calling us at 503-988-6400.

In-person appointments
Although most services can be provided over the phone, Gateway Center can schedule an in-person appointment depending on capacity and the service needed. To inquire about any Gateway services, please call us.



Some Services:
Every survivor's situation and needs are different. Speak with one of our navigators to explore options regarding your specific situation.

Restraining Orders
Complete the full process of a protection order over the phone. To qualify for this service at the Gateway Center, a survivor or the abuser must live in Multnomah County, and be seeking protection from a intimate/x-intimate partner or sexual assault.

Protection Orders for survivors over 65 or living with a disability
Complete the full process of a protection order over the phone. To qualify for this service at the Gateway Center, a survivor must Live in Multnomah county, have a disability that substantially limits daily activity or be 65 or older, and be seeking an order against a family member, intimate partner or caretaker.

Receive a legal consultation for your situation. Includes legal consultations for immigration law, family law, pressing charges and more.

Receive Information regarding support groups and/or counseling at the Gateway Center and in the community.
